Jane has been an associate of Informed Assessment since its formation. Jane has more than 15 years’ experience of consulting with organisations, usually as they face change.
Jane undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Assessment at the University of Brighton in 1993/94 and followed this with training in the MBTI and CPI. Jane is also trained in the use of the Hogan suite, Wave and Hudson Competency Scan Advanced as well as SHL’s Competency profiling. She is also a trained Counsellor and accredited coach.
Jane began her career in retail management with Selfridges and the Bentalls Group, where she specialised in training and development, and later joined Bupa as Training and Development Manager with additional responsibilities for managing the HR, Quality and IT functions. In 1992, having experienced redundancy at first hand, Jane joined FOCUS and also began working with its sister company CEPEC. CEPEC was later acquired by TMP Worldwide and became Hudson. Jane then became UK Operations Director for the HR Consulting division of Hudson.
Much of Jane’s work has been around career management and development. She has used a range of tools including psychometric assessment instruments to enable clients to undertake in-depth self assessment to gain insights and clarity about strengths, drivers and motivators as well as areas for development. She has also undertaken benchmarking projects, assessing senior executives and teams, 360 degree exercises and group workshops for career management and development centres.
Her assessment experience has covered assignments in both public and private sector organisations, including professional services, local government and Non Departmental Government Bodies. This wide experience includes individual assessments of Senior Board Directors to high-volume recruitment exercises for clerical staff and graduate selection.
