Stewart Wright BA Hons – Director & Founder

Stewart is an experienced assessment consultant who began his career in the recruitment industry in 1985.  Specialising initially in accountancy recruitment, and working within busy West End and City of London branches through the period of financial deregulation, Stewart then joined Austin Knight in 1988.

Throughout his career in Austin Knight, and its subsequent purchase by TMP Worldwide, Stewart gained a vast range of “front line” recruitment consultancy experience which has proved an invaluable foundation to his move to assessment and development in the mid 1990s.  Stewart spent a number of years in Newcastle upon Tyne, and then moved to Manchester where he has worked since the mid 1990s.
Stewart co-founded Informed Assessment in 2002.  Since then he has been involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of assessment initiatives, across a diverse range of sectors and at all levels from “shop floor” to Chief Executive.  In the last few years he has gained a wealth of expertise in the application of on-line assessment technology.

Stewart is trained in aptitude testing, job analysis, 360 degree feedback and in the design and delivery of Assessment and Development Centres.  He is trained in a number of personality and motivation questionnaires including OPQ, the Hogan suite of instruments and Wave.  He also holds British Psychological Society level B (intermediate) recognition of professional competence.

Stewart is the co-author of “Succeeding at Assessment Centres in a Week”, published by Hodder and Stoughton, “Managing Recruitment Pocketbook”, published by Management Pocketbooks and “Managing Assessment Centres Pocketbook”, also published by Management Pocketbooks.
