John Chelsom, the founder and Managing Director of CSW, asked Informed Assessment to look at the executive team and provide some objective insights into its strengths and ‘blind spots’. ‘We recognised that our continued success and growth would be in no small way dependent upon how we worked together as a team, and this in turn would depend upon how well we understood each other's strengths,’ explained John.
Informed Assessment asked members of the executive team to complete two questionnaires to provide objective evidence as to each of their managerial styles and competency strengths and weaknesses. Thorough feedback was given to each participant and individual development plans were initiated. Belbin team types were generated and the team profile was shared with the whole executive team.
‘Through their thorough but positive feedback process, Informed Assessment helped us to think about the strengths we each had, and our development areas. It really got us thinking about the ‘character’ of the team as a whole, as we set about the next phase of our growth,’ said John Chelsom.
