Informed Assessment was invited by Coloplast Limited to help further improve the quality of recruitment and selection within the business, by running a series of workshops for all managers involved in recruitment.
Informed Assessment's role involved the design and delivery of a series of one-day workshops for line managers with responsibility for recruitment. The workshops were aimed at a cross-section of managers, covering a range of functional areas and experience of recruitment and selection.
The delivery of the workshops was timed to support the implementation of a new recruitment and selection process within the business by helping to ensure that managers were clear about their role and responsibilities within the new process.
In addition, the workshops were designed to raise awareness of the key legal issues relating to recruitment and selection; to communicate the key skills required to interview effectively; and to provide opportunities for skills development in this area.
Five workshops were held and participants were very positive in their comments:
In addition to the workshops for recruiting managers, Informed Assessment was involved in the design and delivery of a tailored event for the Senior Management Group. This workshop looked at the wider business context of recruitment and tackled topics such as translating the Coloplast brand image into recruitment practice.
HR Director Tess O'Kane said:
‘Informed Assessment spent time really understanding what we wanted to achieve from our workshops and the audience involved. Participant feedback has been very positive and we are confident that the workshops have provided tangible benefits in improving the quality of recruitment within the business.’
